Go-to-market
Founder’s Associate Intern
We’re looking for a Founder’s Associate intern to work side by side with Fakto’s founders.
- Location
- Paris
- Contract
- Internship, 6 months from January 2027
- Workplace
- On-site
- Salary
- €1,800 per month
Who we are
Large companies spend billions with their suppliers, yet few truly see or control that spend. Fakto is building the Cost Intelligence platform for how companies spend: AI agents that understand every supplier relationship, enforce what was agreed, and increasingly help decide what to buy, from whom and at what price. We start where the money leaks today, in the gap between what’s negotiated and what’s actually paid.
We are live in production with large enterprises and raised a $4.2M seed round led by Frst. Founded by Nicolas (CEO, ex-BCG, previously co-founded illuminem), Charles (CTO, ex-Qonto, Datadog) and Benjamin (CRO, ex-Celonis).
We’re a fast-growing team in Paris, and we care a lot about building a healthy, ambitious, international culture.
What you’ll do
You’ll split your time between go-to-market and operations: preparing client meetings and pilots, building the materials that help us win large enterprise accounts, and running the projects that keep a fast-growing company working. It’s a rare chance to learn how a fast-growing AI startup is built, right next to its founders.
You’ll work across the founders’ priorities, roughly split between go-to-market and operations. The mix will shift with what the company needs most.
Go-to-market
- Prepare and win client meetings: research target accounts, map their organisation and spend, and build the pitch and proposal materials for each meeting.
- Support our pilots: help prepare client data, analyse contracts and invoices alongside our deployment team, and turn the results into steering committee presentations.
- Build our pipeline: structure target lists by sector, draft outreach to CFOs and procurement leaders, and keep our CRM clean and useful.
- Sharpen our positioning: run market and competitive analyses that feed directly into how we sell.
Operations
- Investors and board: prepare investor updates, board materials and the data behind them.
- Hiring: help run our recruitment, from sourcing candidates to organising interviews.
- Finance and admin: track budget and suppliers, and keep the company’s day-to-day running smoothly.
- Founders’ projects: take on strategic projects as they come up, and automate what we do repeatedly with AI.
Why this role, right now
- A front-row seat on building a company. You’ll sit in on client meetings, investor conversations and hiring decisions. Few internships let you see how a company is actually built, week by week.
- Real ownership. You’ll own projects end to end and present your work directly to the founders, and often to clients.
- Enterprise-grade problems. Our clients are large industrial and services groups. You’ll learn how CFOs and procurement leaders think, and how a complex B2B sale gets won.
- A path to full-time. Strong interns will be considered for a full-time role at the end of their internship, in sales, deployment or operations.
You’re a great fit if you
- Are enrolled at a leading business or engineering school
- Have done at least one demanding internship, for example in consulting, venture capital, investment banking or a startup
- Are strong with Excel and slides, and can turn a messy question into a clear, structured answer
- Are comfortable in writing and speaking in front of senior people, from a client’s procurement team to their CFO
- Use AI tools on a daily basis and are keen to push how far they can go
- Take ownership: you finish what you start without being chased
- Are fluent in French and English, written and spoken
- Can commit to 6 months, on-site in Neuilly
What we offer
- Salary: €1,800 per month.
- Direct mentoring from the founders. You’ll work with us every day.
- A path to a full-time role for interns who stand out.
- An office we actually like coming to, at Neuilly Lab, one minute on foot from Les Sablons metro (Line 1, well connected to most of Paris).
- The best tools. Latest models, a laptop, and no procurement battles to use Claude or anything else that makes you faster.
- The work itself. Real clients, real decisions, and the chance to shape how a company grows while it’s still small enough for that to matter.
Hiring process
We’ve designed this to be fast, respectful of your time, and high signal on both sides. It usually takes about two weeks end to end.
- 30-minute intro call with Nicolas (CEO).
- A short case, about 2 hours, done from home whenever suits you that week. For example: pick a target sector for Fakto, prioritise the accounts and draft the first outreach. We judge the thinking, not the formatting, and you’re welcome to use AI.
- Case debrief and founders’ conversations (in person). You present your case, then meet Charles and Benjamin to talk about Fakto, the role and the company we want to build.
- Offer. A convention de stage with your school is required.
