Who we are

Large companies spend billions with their suppliers, yet few truly see or control that spend. Fakto is building the Cost Intelligence platform for how companies spend: AI agents that understand every supplier relationship, enforce what was agreed, and increasingly help decide what to buy, from whom and at what price. We start where the money leaks today, in the gap between what’s negotiated and what’s actually paid.

We are live in production with large enterprises and raised a $4.2M seed round led by Frst. Founded by Nicolas (CEO, ex-BCG, previously co-founded illuminem), Charles (CTO, ex-Qonto, Datadog) and Benjamin (CRO, ex-Celonis).

What you’ll do

Forward Deployed Engineers sit at the intersection of product, engineering, customer success and sales. You’ll work hand in hand with client teams to understand their problems and their data, and bring what you learn in the field back to our product engineers so the solution keeps getting better.

You’ll make sure Fakto delivers measurable value across the full client lifecycle, from the first proof of value to production and expansion, while growing your AI skills in a company that builds with it every day.

• Build the FDE team from the ground up: define the deployment methodology that drives value for every client, and help hire and grow the team that will scale it.
• Build strong relationships with our flagship clients: large industrial groups, leaders in their markets.
• Analyse large, unstructured datasets: dig through contracts, invoices and operational data to find the margin our clients are missing, and configure our product to surface it.
• Collaborate directly with executives and operational teams: run workshops, turn ambiguous requirements into concrete specs, demo the product and train users.
• Run proofs of value end to end: scope them with the client sponsor, get the data out of their systems and present the results to the steering committee.
• Grow your accounts: identify the next spend categories, business units and use cases where Fakto applies, and build the business case to expand.
• Shape our roadmap: bring client insights back to the product team to decide which features and products to build next.

Why this role, right now

• Join a deeply ambitious team. We’re backed by Tier 1 investors (the funds behind Pigment, Revolut, and Ramp), already have LLM-based systems running for enterprise clients, and our founding team has built core products at companies like Datadog, Celonis, and Qonto.
• Deployment is where the value is won. You’ll deploy AI agents in complex enterprise environments, where the data that matters is spread across ERPs, procurement tools, shared drives and inboxes, and has never been put to use. You’ll be doing the work that decides whether a client renews and expands, and you’ll come out of it able to lead complex enterprise projects end to end.
• Real scope, real upside. You’ll own your accounts and have a say in how we deploy, what we build next and how we grow the team.

You’re a great fit if you

• Have 4+ years of experience, ideally as an FDE, in consulting, or in a role combining client-facing and data expertise at an enterprise software company.
• Are comfortable using coding agents (e.g. Claude Code) to explore and wrangle data (no production code required).
• Are at ease in front of clients, from the operational teams who hold the data to the CFO who signs off on the results.
• Love solving complex business problems from large, messy datasets, and deliver results in weeks, not months.
• Are keen to travel and spend time on client sites.
• Combine analytical rigour with sharp storytelling.
• Are an enthusiastic user of AI.
• Thrive in a fast-growing, high-ownership environment and learn quickly by doing.
• Are fluent in French and English, written and spoken.

• Salary: €80k-€100k gross, depending on experience.

Hiring process

We’ve designed this to be fast, respectful of your time, and high signal on both sides.

1. 30-minute intro call. We talk about you, about Fakto, and whether there’s enough mutual interest to keep going.
2. 3-hour take-home case study. You work on a case built from a real Fakto deployment: contracts, invoices and operational data to analyse, and value to uncover.
3. 90-minute case presentation (in person). You present your findings and recommendations to the team, and we dig into your approach together.
4. 90-minute founders’ fit conversations (in person). You meet the other two co-founders, Charles and Nicolas, who’ll talk about Fakto more broadly, the product, and the company we want to build.
